After many years of killing games involving various people from many different backgrounds and places, it’s unclear if Ultimates are even the focus, anymore.It's terrifying living in a world of such uncertainty and fear.

Money is everything in this world.When your life is potentially on the line at all times, pursuing your talent has certainly gotten a lot harder. Whether you're persevering or have just given up entirely and become a Former Ultimate, getting ahold of some money would be incredibly useful to you for one reason or another.Perhaps you genuinely need to put funding into talent cultivation, perhaps you're in debt after pursuing a costly talent for far too long to keep up with, perhaps you snapped under the pressure of merely existing in this world of uncertainty... now you're in big trouble and need a quick out.

Whatever your motivations may be, the letter inviting you to a convention for Ultimates to show off their talents and potentially gain funding is something you've decided to take a chance on... for better or for much, much worse.
